Flamenco Night

The flamenco night was an interesting experience. It took place in a small cave which was was very cosy. At first, we thought that we were going to have a kind of party with young happy dancers. We were claping on the bus and practicing the way we were going to cheer. Instead, the dance turned out to be a way to express the pain and the rage in the hearts of the gypsies. The dancers were too old and unfit and weren't what we were expecting at all especially for the boys ;). The expressions on the faces of the dancers were very fierce and they were taking their performance very seriously, and had alot of pride and confidence. 

Although it wasn't what we were expecting it was a very interesting exprience and we learned alot about the Spanish culture.

Por la noche, hemos ido para ver un espectáculo de flamenco en una cueva en el barrio del Albaicín. El grupo era compuesto de tres bailaores, un cantante y un guitarrista. Nos han impresionado las emociones en la cara de los bailaores que exprese todo la ira y la tristeza que han vivido durante sus vidas. Era una experiencia inolvidable.

اختتمنا نهارنا الطويل بسهرة فلامنغو في احد الكهوف في منطقة البايسيين التي عاش فيها الغجر ولجأ اليها العرب بعد هروبهم  من الاسبان اثر خسارتهم لغرناطة. وقد تضمنت السهرة عدة رقصات لرجال ونساء من الغجر يرافقهم عزف على آلة الغيتار.
